Complications multiplied: their DJ was arrested by John for drug dealing, their wedding cake arrived early and in the wrong flavor, leading to a makeshift cake baking bridal shower, and friends rallied to arrange flowers after a mix-up with the florist. The string of mishaps didn’t end there. John’s son, Henry (Zayne Emory), faced a canceled flight, and Pete (Pete Davidson), John’s half-brother, couldn’t attend due to legal troubles, sending Randy (Flula Borg) in his stead—who then lost Bailey’s wedding ring to a man known as The Hammer. Retrieving the ring involved Lucy Chen (Melissa O’Neil) and Tim Bradford (Eric Winter) in a peculiar negotiation.
To top it off, John was embroiled in a legal suit by Oscar Hutchinson (Matthew Glave), further complicated by a change in attorneys to the formidable Monica (Bridget Regan), causing additional stress on the wedding day.
