Arizona Man Saves Dog from Freeway and Welcomes Her Home

A Good Samaritan in Arizona has not only rescued a dog running loose on a busy freeway but has also welcomed her into his home. Recently, a small dog was spotted darting along I-17 near Camelback Road in Phoenix, prompting a dramatic rescue effort captured by traffic cameras.

Several Good Samaritans and a DPS trooper tried to save the frightened dog as she ran along the shoulder of the freeway. A highway patrol officer temporarily stopped traffic to assist, but the dog managed to slip away, running in the opposite direction.

That’s when Marshall Torres, wearing a neon yellow t-shirt, stepped in to help. Thanks to his quick actions, the little dog was safely rescued. Below is the raw footage of the dramatic freeway rescue.

Thankfully, Marshall managed to catch the dog, carry her to safety, and put her in his car. He brought the dog home to look after her.
